@misschestnut2 Thanks!! I don’t recommend working out while fasting. You will still lose weight & detox without the workouts. To avoid getting lightheaded & weak drink a ton of water, rest & clear the lymph nodes. I have never gotten “hunger pains” – just mental cravings & I just recognized them as that and realized I was stronger & stayed focused on my task at hand. Good luck to you!!
heya i really would like to do a 10 day water fast as of tomoro- ive be too’ing and fro’ing with it for a few months and been watching your videos and think your a fantastic inspiration.
i want to know how you over come the hunger pains on the first few days? ive done 1 and 2 day fasts but get lightheaded and weak i workout daily and wont want to miss out on that so im wondering will i still be able to forfill my workouts?
im hoping for a great weightloss in 10 days, do u think its possible?xx
@pirucreek Don’t worry bout BMs – I’m going to talk about them tonight. Your body knows what it is doing. Don’t stress, go with the flow, drink water, enjoy your fast, and pump the lymph. Great job on day 2!! Stay strong and really do this!! Read what I wrote to boitenvalise about BMs. You are doing fine!!
I made it though day #2. It was really easy. I have not gone #2 in 3 days so I am wondering about that. I did get like a headache at one point, but I brought it under control. 263 so dropped a couple more lbs. Will drink more water to avoid dehydration.
@boitenvalise Craving subside as long as you don’t give into them usually by day 3-4. If you fall into the underweight category I would highly suggest not doing a long term. However if you do think of yourself as bed ridden. Only getting up go to the bathroom, migrate into the sun and back, and to get water. Very little out and about. Although you can fast & if hunger returns then end it simple as that. Once hunger returns then you are on verge of starvation. Your body will tell you.
@sweetp888t A lot of people do discourage taking in anything but water during a water fast, but I’m just worried about cravings and such, and so I wanted to hear your first hand experiences. I would really like to do a long water fast because I’d really like to attain the spiritual and mental benefits of doing a long water fast. However, I’m afraid my already low bmi would prevent this. I’m quite torn and I’m not sure what to do.
@boitenvalise This time I did nothing – I feel much better with this decision. As far as teas go…I don’t believe it is effective. Herbal teas tend to stimulate certain organs & when your no eating this is increased. Your body is intelligent & has a little check list it is going through – prioritizing certain things. Herbal teas stimulate & then the body has to stop what its doing to work out this stimulate/irritant & it takes away for the goal. I would say do your own research though
@boitenvalise Last time I did senna leaf tea & a salt water flush(both of which went against eveyrthing I researched, Dr Shelton). Both were useless. I did the tea the night before I started -BM the next day & then I also ended up having a BM on day 6 (so it didn’t get everything out). I did the SWF & it was horrible & the result was less than impressive. 3 days or so after I broke my fast I had a nasty BM that I actually had to take a nap after. So even doing both of those I had junk in there.
What do you do for bowel movements before/during your fast. Do you take anything? Also, what would you say about drinking herbal teas during a water fast?

@sweetp888t Thank you for the great tip, I did it and it told me I should be taking in 66 ounces of water per day.
@PRETTY2P1NK Wonderful!!! I should have mentioned though not too drink too much lol!! Although I think since elimination is moving & grooving it would be hard for too much water to be bad. During a fast I consider it a moderate plus activity level even if you sit around all day. For me that would be 1 gallon a day and I think I drink maybe a bit more than that. If you don’t know how much google water intake calculator & use the first one – its really good. Glad your feeling better!!!

i was feeling dizzy yesterday and this morning, so now I’m drinking way more water than I was and now I feel great.
